- в FM-диапазоне - на русском, украинском и молдавском языках;

- в СВ-диапазоне - на русском языке;

- в КВ-диапазоне - на русском, английском, немецком и французском языках;

News from Pridnestrovie

The Pridnestrovian State Television and Radio Company broadcast live interview of the President Yevgeny Shevchuk to journalists from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Pridnestrovie.

The results of the international conference in the German town of Landshut, the consequences of Moldova's signing an association agreement with the EU, the situation in the Security Zone - all of this was discussed during the interview. Another important theme was the assessment of the real economic situation in the country.

According to the head of the Odessa branch of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Yuriy Rabotin, it is no secret that because of economic sanctions, regularly imposed by Moldavian and European institutions, Pridnestrovie has lost huge parts of it s economy. A number of media informed about the decline in production. Responding to a reporter's question about the real economic situation in our country, Yevgeny Shevchuk focused on the fact that the difficult situation is caused by a number of factors that affect the economy. First of all, the fact is that the regime on the border between Pridnestrovie and Ukraine has not changed since 2006. Second – it is the global economic crisis. Third (this is something that has a major impact), - there is no political solution to the conflict between Tiraspol and Kishinev. It also deters the attraction of investors.

Journalists were interested in the development of Pridnestrovian-Russian relations: the construction of social objects through the "Eurasian integration" and the signing of the protocol "Shevchuk-Rogozin."

In this regard, the President stressed that Russia is a country-guarantor of the Moldavian- Pridnestrovian negotiations, and that under many documents in the negotiation process there is a signature of the representatives of the Russian Federation. Here the Russian Federation has been consistently implementing the agreements that have been reached between the parties. And in the development of these arrangements they have signed a protocol that determines the intensification of economic contacts between the Russian Federation and Pridnestrovie to expand mutual trade, and to simplify and identify appropriate procedures."

The conversation with the President lasted about an hour. The reporters raised the most pressing issues. And those who did not watch the live broadcast of the head of state can read the text of the interview on the official website of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The interview of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Yevgeny Shevchuk is being discussed by the entire country. The presidents' answers are being quoted online and analyzed by political scientists. But the most interesting thing is how the ordinary Pridnestrovians saw and heard the live broadcast of the President.

The residents of the republic are mostly concerned with the situation in the Security Zone in Bendery in light of recent events involving the abduction of the Pridnestrovian and Russian citizen by the representatives of the Moldavian authorities.

Interestingly, the attention of Pridnestrovians is riveted to the results of meetings, consultations of Pridnestrovian authorities at the highest level. "Interestingly, there is some hope. It is important that there are already economic, political perspectives. Interestingly, what the president said after the meetings is that somehow there is the ground under their feet," says a resident of Tiraspol.

People are talking about the initialing by Moldova of the agreement to join the Free Trade Area with the EU. Citizens understand that it will lead to the aggravation of the economic crisis in Pridnestrovie: "Something is unclear with Moldova, they do not play out in the open a fair play, they have their own plan, and they talk about it in a positive light. It seems like it's just a novelty, but as I understand it, Yevgeny Shevchuk believes that this is just a cover for their plan. If Moldova does not agree with the rules of the game offered by the "5+2" format, so why not talk about it out loud."

Residents of the country do not assess positively the economy of Pridnestrovie, however, they are hoping that things will get better soon, "I think it will take a little more time and everything will be okay because the Government and the President are working well and everything will be fine".

Pridnestrovian President Yevgeny Shevchuk gave an exclusive interview with Moldavian TV channel “TVC 21".

The editor Stanislav Vyzhga was interested, first of all, in the outcome of the conference on confidence-building measures.

Recall, the event was held at the end of October this year in the Bavarian town of Landskhud (Germany). During the interview, Stanislav Vyzhga asked Shevchuk to comment on some points of his speech in Germany, which was reprinted in the media and caused a variety of opinions of the Pridnestrovian and foreign experts.

Recall that in Landshut President of Pridnestrovie indicated that the key to the Moldavian-Pridnestrovian conflict is a civilized, comfortable "divorce." "The attempts to use the changes to the rules of foreign trade activities can be seen as an instrument of pressure on Pridnestrovie, as sanctions. Why should we follow the path of confrontation? Therefore, there was proposed the formula of civilized divorce: to outline our contradictions over the border and establish appropriate relationships at other civilized way," said Yevgeny Shevchuk.

As part of the interview with Moldavian TV channel the president also spoke about the implications for Pridnestrovie of the possible signing by Moldavia and Ukraine of the agreement on free trade zone with the European Union.

Stnislav Vyzhga was also interested in issues related to the Protocol "Rogozin-Shevchuk." The document was signed on 25 October this year, by the results of the working meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in Pridnestrovie and the President of Pridnestrovie.

Chief editor of the TV channel “TVC 21" asked about the position of the Pridnestrovian leadership with regard to the establishment by Moldova of immigration checkpoints on the border with Pridnestrovie.

Wrapping up his interview with the President of Pridnestrovie, Stanislav Vyzhga asked Yevgeny Shevchuk to share his vision of the future of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The President expressed the hope that in the future Pridnestrovie would become "a prosperous, wealthy state."

The Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie hosted a meeting of the Foreign Minister of the Republic Nina Shtanski with the UN Resident Coordinator, UNDP Resident Representative in Moldova Nicola Harrington-Buhai.

Opening the meeting, Nina Shtanski thanked Nicola Harrington-Buhai, and in her face organizations of the UN family, for implementation in Pridnestrovie of a number of projects aimed at improving the lives of people, particularly in the social and industrial sector, health, environmental and human rights. The Minister also noted the positive contribution of international organizations such as UNICEF and the World Health Organization to the development of humanitarian cooperation with Pridnestrovie.

The head of the Pridnestrovian diplomacy has reported on the completion of work to form an interdepartmental action plan based on the recommendations of the UN Special Representative for Human Rights in Pridnestrovie Thomas Hammarberg. The plan is divided into nine most important areas for Pridnestrovian experts. Among them the priority is medical treatment of the civilian population and protection of people with disabilities, as well as the reform of the system of detention. According to her, specialists will soon arrive in the Republic and who together with Pridnestrovian experts will start technical work on the questions specified in the recommendations.

Responding to questions from journalists after the meeting, Nina Shtanski welcomed the practical results of bilateral cooperation of the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie with UNDP. So, one of these days in Rybnitsa there will be implemented a fairly expensive project in the field of healthcare equipment. The plans include projects in the field of medicine, in particular, perinatal, in providing assistance to pregnant women before delivery. By the way, the project donor is the Russian Federation. The project will also be held in conjunction with WHO, UNICEF, UNDP.

Nicola Harrington-Buhai also noted the good momentum of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that the momentum will continue to increase. "In the field of human rights it is important every day to make small steps to improve one or another sphere of life. Even a small step that we do opens the door to new projects," she concluded.

The public of Pridnestrovie in the person of the "Union of Defenders of Pridnestrovie", which brings together a large part of the active Pridnestrovians who care about the future of our republic, is anxiously watching the actions of the authorized bodies of the Republic of Moldova in the Security Zone.

The Union expressed concern about the significant excess of Moldavian policemen in the city of Bendery.

According to the agreement of 1992 on ceasefire and separation of the warring parties of the Moldavian- Pridnestrovian conflict, a team of investigators, which consisted of 50 representatives of law enforcement bodies of Pridnestrovie and Moldova has been formed in order to carry out search operations in the city of Bendery. According to the latest decision of the Joint Control Commission, overseeing the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester since 1992, the strength of the joint operational-investigative group has been increased to 100. Because of this, the Moldavian authorities have opened there the police station for transport, the prosecutor, the court, the Department of Information and Security.

Moldova's position has been provocative, in disregard of previous agreements and the opinion of participants in the negotiation process. The result of Moldova's actions is the escalation of tensions in the Security Zone, the constant provocations on the sector of the Moldavian-Pridnestrovian border, creating the conditions for discrimination of Pridnestrovians' rights, the formation of the reasons for the leveling of any positive dynamics of the negotiation process. All these facts are the result of purposeful, deliberate actions of the official Kishinev in pursuance of quite specific goal - the elimination of the sovereignty of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The Republic of Moldova is using any excuse to say that the current format of the peacekeeping operation has been exhausted.

Of particular concern is the fact that the provocations are of demonstrative nature, contrary to the position of the Pridnestrovian side, and with the tacit consent of the participants in the negotiation process in the "5+2" format.

"The Union of Defenders of Pridnestrovie" urges all Pridnestrovians, regardless of political affiliation, religion, nationality, to demonstrate unity as a response to the morally and legally unreasonable attempts to undermine the freedom and security of individuals, society and the state. In this regard, members of the organization claim the full trust and support of all initiatives of the President and Government of our Republic, aimed at stabilizing the situation in the Security Zone to protect the interests of the people of Pridnestrovie and the integrity of the republic.

Members of the Union have put forward a number of requirements: to the Public Chamber of the Republic – to more actively seize available opportunities to promote the interests of Pridnestrovie at the level of experts of the Russian Federation and Ukraine; to the OSCE Mission to Moldova - to fulfill previous agreements and prevent any provocative actions of the Moldavian authorities in the Security Zone. The "defenders of Pridnestrovie" have urged the diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation and Ukraine to develop and define a more active role in the settlement of the Moldavian-Pridnestrovian conflict, based on defending the interests of Russian and Ukrainian citizens living in Pridnestrovie.

From 7 to 12 November, the delegation of students of the Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Grigorievich Shevchenko will participate in the International Congress of Students "Interdialog: ISTOKI.RU."

The congress will be attended by higher education institutions and youth organizations of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Abkhazia, Pridnestrovie and the Baltic countries.

The Congress includes a training program in three areas: science and innovation, media and public relations, schools of young politicians. Special attention in the educational program will be given to methods of career guidance of students and cooperation with the national-oriented corporations.

The program of the congress envisages a large number of activities aimed at the formation of the active position of students, development of intercultural skills, practicing communication choices in difficult situations.
