- в FM-диапазоне - на русском, украинском и молдавском языках;

- в СВ-диапазоне - на русском языке;

- в КВ-диапазоне - на русском, английском, немецком и французском языках;

News from Pridnestrovie

The delegation of Pridnestrovie to the Joint Control Commission issued a statement "On the true causes of the Moldavian side's refusal to engage the Joint Military Command in monitoring objects of logistical infrastructure of Moldova illegally stationed on the territory of the Russian Federation peacekeeping forces' headquarters in the city of Bendery."

The statement noted that for quite a long time the Moldavian side has maintained in the territory of the Joint Staff of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces a full-fledged military base, including barracks, a dining room and a car park, unauthorized by the JCC and JMC.

Representatives of Pridnestrovie in the JCC point out that in this area the Pridnestrovian side (an equal party to the JCC and JMC) has no similar objects and still can not solve this issue on the basis of consensus because of the opposition on the part of the Moldavian delegation to the JCC. Placing similar facilities of the Pridnestrovian party to the Joint Staff of the joint peacekeeping forces outside this territory has caused resentment on the part the Moldavian side, and the blockade by the Moldavian delegation of all the activities of the Joint Control Commission carried out deliberately and cynically with brazen violations of the JCC Rules, which lasts for the fifth month.

The document, released by the Pridnestrovian side, indicates the discovery in the mess of the Moldavian base of a back-door passage which can be used for secret entry to the territory of the Joint Staff of the JPF backup forces.

The delegation of Pridnestrovie in its statement stressed that there have been complaints from local residents about the fact that the troops military contingent of peacekeeping forces of the Republic of Moldova are constantly moving through their gardens. All this takes place in a city that has suffered from the aggression of the same Moldavian Army troops in 1992.

In this regard, the Pridnestrovian side insists on weapons and ammunition verification by the Joint Military Command of the JMF of all the facilities, equipped illegally by Moldova on the territory of peacekeeping headquarters. The Pridnestrovian delegation intends to take measures to prevent such acts of the Moldavian side in the future.

Moldavian policemen were seen on the dam of Dubossary hydroelectric power station in Pridnestrovie. During the 5 hours there was a mobile police checkpoint of the Republic of Moldova. There are reports that the Moldova policemen were armed. Military observers of the four sides - Russia, Pridnestrovie, Moldova and Ukraine – have visited the site. Moldavian security forces had been warned by their colleagues, and left the dam.

As previously reported, Moldova started the construction of a reinforced concrete structure. They plan to use it as a stationary checkpoint.

Co-Chair of the Joint Control Commission from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov said that the Moldavian side claimed only about six of these checkpoints, but in fact there are eight of them. There is reason to believe that there will be at least 22 checkpoints in the Security Zone, because in such localities as Kainary and Raskaetsy, an extra infrastructure for the formation of such checkpoints has been installed.

According to Oleg Belyakov, the establishment of new checkpoints by the Moldavian security forces in the Security Zone not only violates the previously signed agreement within the JCC, but also exacerbates the situation.

In the capital of Pridnestrovie in the Palace of the Republic there was held an extended reporting session of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski prsented the final report to the solemn board meeting. She informed the participants on the main directions and results of activities of the Foreign Ministry for the 9 months of the year.

According to Nina Shtanski, the leading role in determining the directions of Foreign Ministry belongs to the Foreign Policy Concept. However, a number of the primary tasks of the department was voiced by the President in his annual message to the organs of state power. Among them, in addition to the traditional areas of work are new, such as the creation of a favorable external environment for innovation and economic development and ensuring modernization of the main spheres of life.

In her speech, Nina Shtanski elaborated on the challenges facing the agency and the methods of their implementation. The priorities in the international arena are complex Eurasian integration and normalization of relations with the Republic of Moldova on the basis of autonomy and independence of our country. The office has been systematically working on the development of relations with the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the Republic of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, other countries and international organizations. Important areas of work are also creating a positive image of the country, working with young people and students, active involvement of the republic in the media sphere, including in the Internet space.

The Minister highlighted the role played by the foreign ministry in the implementation of the course of the state toward a gradual inclusion in the processes of Eurasian integration. This work is done in several ways, including the priority - the establishment of the system of contacts with the Russian Federation at the level of experts, information and humanitarian cooperation. In this context, Nina Shtanski paid particular attention to the work of the media center "Eurasian Pridnestrovie", which today is the largest regional Internet resource covering Eurasian topics.

The minister emphasized the special meaning of the interaction with the Russian Federation concerning the opportunities and threats for Pridnestrovie within the context of the upcoming Vilnius summit of "Eastern Partnership".

The Foreign Minister paid particular attention to the current developments in the Moldavian-Pridnestrovian settlement process. The diplomat stressed that Pridnestrovie in the negotiations with the Republic of Moldova "has consistently adhered to the principles of equality, mutual respect and the need to take into account the previous agreements." Activities of the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie in the negotiation process have been conducted on a number of tracks, primarily, the organization of meetings of senior management and project meetings of political representatives in the "5+2" format. Much work has also been done in the framework of joint working groups. At all levels of the negotiation process Pridnestrovie continues to adhere to the tactics of "small steps", which aim to create an atmosphere of trust.

Nina Shtanski drew attention to the fact that the basic performance of the department for the first 9 months of 2013 compared to the same period last year increased by an average of 40-50 percent. These figures confirm the efficacy of the earlier restructuring of the diplomatic corps, as well as the efficiency of the Foreign Ministry as a whole.

The report of the President Yevgeny Shevchuk wrapped up the event. He noted the special efforts made by the current composition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the most difficult foreign policy conditions. Yevgeny Shevchuk also noted that young and small in size department's personnel is highly professional, which allows the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be one of the most efficient in the country.

Talking about the foreign policy priorities of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk said that the republic today faces major challenges. According to the head of the state, new challenges had to do with the talks on associate membership of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine and the European Union. The President noted that the priorities of foreign policy of the republic will remain unchanged. Pridnestrovie has conducted and will continue to conduct an open policy to expand contacts with all countries interested in cooperation. It will continue to convincingly defend its interests and the interests of its citizens who have defined the foreign policy of the state.

Yevgeny Shevchuk also expressed the view that, in 2013-2014 one would have to solve the problem of the formation of the mission of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry in the capital cities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine in order to strengthen and build contacts with them on a permanent basis. The President also expressed his gratitude to the staff of Foreign Ministry of the republic of their contribution to the protection of the interests of the state.

At the end of the board meeting the Foreign Ministry employees were awarded state awards. A number of representatives of the Foreign Ministry were sworn in foreign service officers and assigned diplomatic ranks.

Pridnestrovian President Yevgeny Shevchuk took part in a round table discussion "The State of the energy security of the state and its impact on the socio-economic situation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". The government organized the debate.

The round table was attended by representatives of the three branches of government, the scientific community and the leaders of some enterprises of the republic.

Opening the round table, Prime Minister Tatiana Turanskaya noted that the current external developments are related to, first of all, the desire of neighboring states to enter the Free Trade Area with the European Union. The main objective of the republic's leadership is to figure out all the possible scenarios, analyze the current state in all spheres of national life, with particular emphasis on the energy sector, to identify their dependence on external factors, to develop an optimal model of decision-making in order to minimize negative impacts.

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Yevgeny Shevchuk greeted the participants of the discussion. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of "substantive conversation about the search for optimal solutions and taking action within the evolving external environment around Pridnestrovie."

At the round table presentations were made by members of the Government, members of the Supreme Soviet, representatives of the Pridnestrovian State University, etc.

The speakers covered a wide range of issues, in particular, the influence of internal and external factors on the socio-economic situation and the energy balance of Pridnestrovie.
